Hope House is set in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside around five miles from the historic market town of Bromyard close to the county border with Worcestershire.
This 16th century home sits in it's own grounds of four acres with a barn sporting dramatic views of the stunning surrounding countryside. The exact date of the initial construction of the house is thought to be around the earlier years of the 16th century.
However, many of the central beams within the roof are thought to have been reused from medieval times. The front of the house boasts a civil porch - extremely unusual outside of an ecclesiastical setting.
The porch features a 17th century relief carved fleur-de-lys motif and is one of the many reasons that the house has a Grade 2* listing from English Heritage.
The house is in the process of a full and sympathetic restoration, with much of the work already completed to the highest of standards. It is expected that all of the works will be completed by the end of 2021.
